Document Pants - Bark Brown

Big and bold, the Document Pant from Story mfg. might be named after the fact you can fit a whole damn document inside those generously sized legs.

Constructed from a lovely cotton slub, the deep reddish brown colour is achieved using natural dyes derived from pomegranate fruit and karuvelam pattai. Along with their oversized silhouette, the defining feature of the Document Pant is the seams running along the front of each leg.

KARUVELAM PATTAI: The Babul tree is a fascinating subject in the field of food and medicine, with its extracts being used as 'gum arabic'. Throughout history, the tree has been utilised for various purposes, such as the roots, seeds, leaves, and twigs. In fact, the fibrous nature of the twigs has even made them suitable as disposable toothbrushes.
