Drawing its name from the natural form of waves, Tom Wood's Crest Ring has a unique rounded-off top. The face is set into a high-polished band with simple construction which contrasts nicely against the contemporary plate shape.

This particular version features a cut piece of Blue Hawk Eye, a blue version of Tiger's Eye stone. This dark blueish-gray stone has a silky iridescent effect known as chatoyancy. The dancing movement is a result of the inner fibers being crumpled and bent upon the stones formation.
